Another community theater?
Yes, but one unlike any others in the area! Pocatello Theatricals was founded on the basis of creating more inclusive performing opportunities to our community. Opportunities for those who are:
-
Inexperienced
-
Disabled
-
Ages 6-99
-
New to performing and unsure how to start
-
From diverse social and economic backgrounds
How do we do this? By offering free performing opportunities to our community. By having ASL interpreters at all of our performances. By hosting audition workshops before holding auditions. By working with our community to produce family-friendly content in a safe, welcoming environment.

Our Mission
Pocatello Theatricals was created in 2024 by Catherine D. C. Barker. Catherine has been steeped in the theater community in Pocatello since she was just 13. She credits theater with giving her the community that has shaped, colored, and saved her life. She believes in the transformative power of gathering a group of people together and giving them a welcoming environment to experiment and grow artistically. Powerful connections are made as people are allowed to authentically be themselves. Pocatello Theatricals is founded on giving our community more opportunities to grow and unite through music, dance, and theater in an accessible, inclusive environment. For us, this is about more than just entertainment. We truly believe the friendships forged and confidence gained both onstage and off can save lives.
